PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ultra-high temperature hot-forged non-heat treated part with which the forged part having more complicate shape than the conventional hot-forged part and high strength and high toughness, is improved to the material yield at producing time by using a cast material as a block and can be produced without applying quenching and tempering. SOLUTION: The method for producing the ultra-high temperature hot-forged non-heat treated part is performed as the followings, that is, the cast material as it is, is heated into the range, in which the lower limited temperature is made to be higher one of either the solidus temperature×0.94 or 1,250°C and the upper limited temperature is made to be the solidus temperature×0.98, and after applying the ultra-high temperature hot-forging making to be >0.8 in a logarithmic strain to the worked strainε1 in the temperature zone in the above range, the finish-forging making to be≥0.6 in the logarithmic strain to the worked rainε2 in the temperature zone at <1,000°C is applied asε1+ε2≥1.5 and naturally cooled. As the other way, the cast material is heated to 900-1,000°C, and after holding for≥1 hr, the ultra-high temperature hot-forging can be applied. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
