<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blowing device and an air conditioner with drastically improved main body performance without changing the size of the main body. <P>SOLUTION: The blowing device is equipped with an air guider 9 including a fan 11 and having a blowout port 18 and a tongue part 17. The height of the air guider 9 is set so that when the blowout port 18 is turned upward, the upper edge of the air guider 9 is substantially at the same position as the tongue part 17. Because the tongue part 17 of the air guider 9 is secured, the height of the air guider 9 is shorter by the height of the part corresponding to a conventional straightener. The size of an indoor heat exchanger (not shown) can be increased, the heat exchanging rate can be increased, and the main body performance can be enhanced without changing the height of the entire device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
