PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size, a thickness and weight, and reduce cost by improving processing efficiency and simplifying a constitution.

SOLUTION: An electronic emission apparatus comprises a cold electron emitting element 1 having a face-like electron emitting portion, and a window 2 arranged oppositely to the front of the electron emitting surface of this cold electron emitting element 1, and provides an acceleration means for accelerating electrons emitted from the electron emitting portion to emit them from the window 2 to the outside.
