<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device compact as a whole, while the device can store cards of generally used size, and to prevent unauthorized tampering of information by unauthorized extraction or the like of the card, in the card storage device capable of storing a plurality of cards. <P>SOLUTION: In this card storage device 1 having five card cases 8 each capable of storing one card, each of the card case 8 comprises a card guide 6 having a card receiving part, corresponding to an outer shape of the card and an opening part for extracting/inserting the card from/into the card-receiving part; a card stopper 7, capable of changing over possibility/impossibility of the extraction/insertion of the card from/into the card guide 6; and a case plate 10 disposed on one side of the card guide 6, having a flat plate part capable of holding the card guide 6.
