PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce manhours for setting network address of an equipment at addition or replacement of the equipment by allowing automatic setting of network address to various equipments. SOLUTION: The network system comprises a plurality of connectors 12a-12c connected to a common serial bus 11, and a plurality of equipments 13a-13c which are, having an intrinsic network address respectively, connected to the common serial bus 11 through the connectors 12a-12c, and provide/receive the data whose network address is specified from the common serial bus 11. The plurality of connectors 12a-12c are connected together in daisy chain. Each connector 12 is inputted with the network address of an equipment 13 connected to itself, and 1 is added to the address, which is outputted to a connector 12 of next stage as the network address of an equipment 13 connected to the connector 12 of the next stage.
