PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver wherein a second frequency conversion means converts a first intermediate frequency converted by a first frequency conversion means into a second intermediate frequency and a local oscillation circuit is configured with a simple circuit. SOLUTION: The receiver includes: the first frequency conversion means 14 for mixing a first oscillating frequency with a received frequency to convert the received frequency into the first intermediate frequency; and the second frequency conversion means 42 for mixing a second oscillating frequency with the first intermediate frequency converted by the first frequency conversion means 14 to convert the first intermediate frequency into the second intermediate frequency. It further includes: an oscillation means 111 for oscillating the second oscillating frequency and supplying the second oscillating frequency to the second frequency conversion means 42; and a multiplier means 112 for receiving the second oscillating frequency from the oscillation means 111, multiplying the second oscillating frequency to obtain the first oscillating frequency and supplying the acquired first oscillating frequency to the first frequency conversion means 14.
