PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component holding structure which is capable of positioning of an electric component to the terminal of a substrate accurately and can maintain reliability of terminal connection by preventing looseness of the electric component, and an electronic unit having the same. SOLUTION: This is a relay holding structure which is composed of a relay 35 having a lead terminal 37 and a frame-shape relay holding part 40 installed on a substrate 34 having insulation nature, and in which the relay 35 is set in the relay holding part 40, and the relay terminal 37 and the terminal part formed in protrusion in the thickness direction of the substrate 34 are electrically connected. A plurality of positioning ribs 43 which extend in the setting direction of the relay 35 and are formed protruded in mutually crossing direction on the inner face of the two walls 40b, 40d crossing at right angles of the relay holding part 40 formed in rectangular shape are provided, and the inner faces of the other two walls 41a, 41c crossing at right angles of the relay holding part 40 are made a locking surface to the relay 35.
