PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and low-cost shutter driving device serving also as diaphragm which performs a shutter operation and a diaphragm operation using a commercial low-cost magnet. SOLUTION: The shutter driving device serving also as diaphragm has a base member 18 with a circular outer shape, a driving ring 20 which opens/closes an opening 18a by operating a light adjustment member 27 is loaded on the base member 18, the driving ring 20 supports a part of the light adjustment member 27 at the upper surface, a driving magnet 21a is fixed to the lower surface of the driving ring, a coil 17 is supported on the part of the base member 18 opposite to the driving magnet 21a, the driving ring 20 rotates by a predetermined angle by action of a magnetic flux generated by energizing the coil 17 and exerted on the driving magnet 21a, so that the shutter operation and adjustment of opening quantity by the light adjustment member 27 become possible.
