摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus 1 for continuously vacuum-carburizing a metal wire rod having little surface defect and small unevenness of the carburization. SOLUTION: In a vacuum chamber 2, a carburizing zone 17 composed of a first furnace core tube 10 having a branch tube 11 for supplying carburizing gas passing through the metal wire rod 3 and opening both end parts, a first heating device 13 and a first heat-insulating material 16: and a diffusion zone 27 composed of a second furnace core tube 20 having a branch tube 21 for supplying inert gas and opening both end parts, a second heating device 23 and a second heat-insulating material 26, are arranged so that the metal wire rod can be passed through in order. As the other way, the first and the second furnace core tubes are formed as one set, and plurally arranged by mutually separating. Further, a winding-out bobbin 4 for winding out the metal wire rod to the carburizing zone, and a winding-up bobbin 5 for winding up the metal wire rod fed out through diffusion zone, are disposed in the vacuum chamber so that the metal wire rod can be passed through at fixed speed.
