PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid preparation as a chewable tablet comprising an acid-labile active ingredient like a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) such as benzimidazole compounds and imidazopyridine compounds, capable of rapidly neutralizing gastric acid and which is not enteric-coated, has quick exhibition of the pharmacological effect of the active ingredient and is easily administrable to children and aged. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the chewable tablet comprising a group which contains the acid-labile active ingredient and at least one basic substance selected from carbonate salt, oxide and hydroxide of an alkaline earth metal, and a group which does not contain the acid-labile active ingredient but contains at least one ingredient selected from carbonate salt, oxide and hydroxide of the alkaline earth metal.
