PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin lotion achieving overall cosmetic effect and skin bleaching effect by finding a combination of components developing remarkable effect for preventing the pigmentation by ultraviolet radiations, significantly preventing the ultraviolet damage of the skin such as roughened skin and dried skin or improving the symptom, having high preparation stability, giving little stimulation to the skin, having excellent safety to the living body and useful as a formulation raw material of a skin lotion. SOLUTION: The skin lotion contains an extract of Betaphycus gelatinum in combination with one or more kinds of melanogenesis suppressing agents and/or one or more kinds of antiinflammatory agents.
