PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat latch device capable of reducing the operating force of an unlocking member. SOLUTION: The seat latch device includes a restricting member 23 pivoted in the neighborhood of an engaging means 21, and has a hook part 28a which hinders the engaging means 21 from moving to the unlock condition when the restricting member 23 is in the restriction position by intruding into the moving locus of an abutting part 21a formed in the engaging means 21 and allows the engaging means 21 to move to the unlock condition when the means is in the admission position by retreating to outside the moving locus of the abutting part 21a of the engaging means 21.
