摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the processing speed of image data, in an image processing device and the like for quantizing image data by an anti-correlation digital halftoning method. SOLUTION: The image processing device 1 is a device for turning m-bit image data into (2<SP>n</SP>+1)-digits (m and n are positive integers, and m>n). In the image processing device 1, a CPU 2 converts the input value of image data (any integer of 0 to (2<SP>m</SP>-1)) to a converted value that is the remainder, after a division by 2<SP>m-n</SP>, processes the converted value by anti-correlation digital halftoning, combines results of comparison between the image data input value and a predetermined value with output values of the converted value processed by anti-correlation digital halftoning, and sets the quantization levels to the combination patterns.
