<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of burst to a seal even if a fluid acts on the seal. <P>SOLUTION: The shaft sealing device has the following constitution. A bearing 3 is provided in the end part of a cylinder 1. The seal is arranged opposite to the bearing 3. A piston rod 5 freely slidably penetrates the center of the bearing 3 and the seal. The fluid flowed out from a gap between the piston rod 5 and the bearing 3 is prevented from leaking outside of the seal. The other sealing material 15 is provided in the middle of the gap 13. Further, a decompression chamber 14, which is opened to the gap 13, and a bypass 16, which is opened to the rear face side of the seal while detouring the decompression chamber 14 around the sealing material 15, are provided to the bearing 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
