摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system which maintains the optimum communication state in accordance with the state of a wireless transmission path between a terminal and a base station and the extent of deterioration in a signal power without increasing the circuit scale and the power consumption in the terminal side. <P>SOLUTION: In the wireless communication system for making a communication by using a multi-carrier signal comprising a plurality of sub carrier signals between the base station and the terminal, the terminal transmits a data signal transmitted from the base station to the base station by all or part of subcarrier signals among a plurality of subcarrier signals, the base station decides at least one of parameters used to adjust a type of a modulation system, a coding rate, and the transmission power used for the communication with the terminal on the basis of the extent of the deterioration in the signal power of the data signal extracted from the received multicarrier signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
