<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a marking pile for burying the marking pile easily, by dispensing with the carry-in of the marking pile to a burying field and the driving work to the ground. <P>SOLUTION: A vertical hole 4 is formed on the ground G, ready-mixed concrete 5 is thrown into the vertical hole 4, a cap 3 that opens 3a downwardly is pressed to the upper part of the ready-mixed concrete 5 before curing the ready-mixed concrete 5, and the ready-mixed concrete 5 is cured, thus forming the marking pile 1 which has the cap 3 at a head section 2a of a pile body 2 made of concrete.
