<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-voltage pulse generating circuit inhibiting the change of the peak value of a high-voltage pulse output with the change of an ambient temperature, a high-voltage pulse transformer proper for a use for the circuit and a high-voltage discharge-lamp lighting device and an automobile head lamp with the pulse transformer. <P>SOLUTION: The high-voltage pulse generating circuit HPG is provided with the high-voltage pulse transformer HPT having a core 1 and a winding wound on the core including a primary winding 12 and a secondary winding 13 wound on the core 11 and being constituted so that an inductance is changed automatically in response to the ambient temperature within the range of a set temperature. The circuit HPG is further provided with an oscillation circuit OSC, which contains a capacitor C1, the primary winding 12 for the pulse transformer HPT, and a discharge gap DG. In the oscillation circuit, resonance characteristics are set so as to be resonated relatively strongly on the high-temperature side of the ambient temperature, and the oscillation circuit is disposed so that a resonance output is input to the pulse transformer HPT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
