<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of preventing white smoke from occurring when an idling state is continued and enabling the forced regeneration of a filter. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device comprises a particulate filter 6 incorporated in the exhaust pipe 4 of a diesel engine 1, a temperature sensor 16 detecting a catalyst bed temperature, an exhaust throttle valve 20 capable of limiting the flow of exhaust emission 3, a regenerative switch 15 capable of transmitting instruction signals 15a, a fuel injection device 10 performing a fuel-after-injection at a timing when the fuel is ignitable after the main injection of the fuel, and a control device 9.
