PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tile having the hydrophilic antifouling layer, with which rain streak foulings appearing on the surface of the tile, especially the rain streak foulings appearing when a silicone-based sealing agent is used can be further reduced. SOLUTION: The tile having the hydrophilic antifouling layer in which silica fine particles are bonded is produced by uniformly applying fine liquid particles containing silica and a siliceous substance for bonding on the surface of a base body with fine irregularities having an average surface roughness of 1-5μm or a roughened surface having an average surface roughness of 10-80μm and then heat treating preferably at 300-700°C so as to form a siliceous binder.
