PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed system structure and a machine tool with it capable of lengthening a feed stroke of a movable body (inner frame) without enlarging a structural body (outer frame) (without enlarging a machine outer size) in a box-in-box structure or the like. SOLUTION: A saddle 6, which is the inner frame of a rectangular shape holding a main spindle 2 inside, is situated inside of a column 5 which is the outer frame of a rectangular shape. In this box-in-box structure, the column 5 has a structure in an X-axis direction in which ribs 5c are projectingly formed on an inner surface 5b of a frame plate 5a and the saddle 6 has a structure in the X-axis direction in which ribs 6c are projectingly formed on an outer surface 6b of a face place 6a. The ribs 5c of the column 5 and the ribs 6c of the column 6t are disposed at positions where they are parallel with each other and they overlap each other without interfering with each other when the saddle 6 is moved. In a Y-axis direction, the ribs 5c and the ribs 6c are disposed at positions where they are parallel with each other and overlap each other and they do not interfere with each other when the saddle 6 is moved.
