PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the convenience of a system that uses applications necessitating authentication. SOLUTION: A POST method where data to be processed by a designated application and the URL of the designated application are written respectively into its body area and header area is received from a browser. When the browser is not authenticated by an authentication server, the data to be processed in the POST method is temporarily retained as it is related to the browser sent and the URL. The browser is redirected to indicate an authentication request to the authentication server. Before a report that the browser redirected is authenticated by GET method is received, the temporarily retained data to be processed is provided, as data sent from the browser related to the data to be processed, to an application that is specified according to the URL related to the data to be processed.
