PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold which can suppress the solidification and adhesion to the mold of a unfluidized part of a material containing a resin high in heat conductivity such as a graphite-containing resin in a part immediately under a direct gate. SOLUTION: In the mold 10 for molding the material containing the resin which has the direct gate 14, in the part 15 immediately under the direct gate, a projected part 16 which reduces the channel cross section area of the material containing the resin of the part 15 as compared with that when the part 15 is a plane is formed (1). In the mold (10), the projected part 16 projecting toward the direct gate 14 is formed in the part 15 (2). The mold is a mold for molding the carbon separator of a fuel cell (3).
