DESIGN METHOD FOR ANTENNA AND ANTENNA USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method for an antenna used for a cellular phone or the like capable of obtaining a desired antenna characteristic in a short time. SOLUTION: Materials constituting the antenna and the dimension of each part are determined as design parameters. The values of the design parameters of the antenna are compared with databases. When a database having the design parameters matched thereto is present in the comparison process, the characteristics of the database are acquired, and when no database having the design parameters matched thereto is present in the comparison process, a predicted characteristic is acquired from a relational expression obtained by internally or externally inserting data in the databases.
