PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase response property of an electromagnetic hydraulic control valve 1, suppress occurrence of biting into a shaft 14 by a foreign matter, and prevent intrusion of a foreign matter into a plunger storage chamber A. SOLUTION: The plunger storage chamber A and a breathing hole 21 are mutually communicated by a breathing passage 16 having large flow passage area to change space volume of the plunger storage chamber A by travel of a plunger 5 or a shaft 14 quickly with reduced resistance and increase response property of the electromagnetic hydraulic control valve 1. Since it is unnecessary to let oil or remaining air flow into slide clearances B1, B2, size of the slide clearances B1, B2 can be reduced to suppress improper slide of the shaft 14 due to biting of a foreign matter. A filter 22 is arranged in an inlet passage 16a which is an inlet of the breathing passage 16 to prevent intrusion of a foreign matter into the plunger storage chanber A, thereby preventing improper operation of the electromagnetic actuator 4 and maintaining demand characteristics of the electromagnetic actuator 4 for a long time.
