PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor raising material for an automobile which is lightweight and inexpensive. SOLUTION: This floor raising material 10 for an automobile is formed of a hollow double wall structure having a front wall 11 and a rear wall 12 which are confronted with each other with an interval. On the front wall 11, a plurality of front wall side ribs 14 which are indented into a groove-shape to the rear wall side are formed approximately in parallel. On the rear wall 12, a plurality of rear wall side ribs 15 which are indented into a groove-shape to the front wall side are formed with an interval from each other. The rear wall side ribs 15 are formed in a direction which crosses the front wall side ribs 14 into a lattice form, and are integrated through a welding section 16 at sections where the distal ends of the front wall side ribs 14 and the distal ends of the rear wall side ribs 15 cross into a lattice-shape. Then, the width W of the openings of the grooves formed on the front wall 11 by the front wall side ribs 14 are set to be within a range of 3 to 10 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
