PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing capable of readily and surely carrying out a series of fishing operations following clutch off operation in real fishing. SOLUTION: The reel for fishing is equipped with a clutch mechanism carrying out winding drive of a spool 7 rotatably supported to a reel body 1 by rotation operation of a steering wheel 5 provided on the side of the reel body 1 and changing over the spool 7 to a spool-free state for releasing a fishline and a power-transmitting state for winding the fishline, and an operating part 50 enabling both operations of a change over operation of a clutch mechanism and a fishline-winding auxiliary operation capable of subsidiarily winding the fishline around the spool 7 is installed in the reel body 1.
