<p>A wire guiding drum has a core body (4) inside a stabilising carrier (3) carrying a separable coating carrier (2) held in place by screws (5). The inner core (4) and the stabilizing element (3) are made of a material with a higher coefficient of expansion than the two outer layers (1, 2), facilitating an easy removal of the outer layers when the drum is cooled down in order to replace the layers (1, 2) when worn out. The stabilizing element (3) can be provided with coolant ducts.</p> |
