<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the flying directionality and to increase the flying distance by setting the position of the center of gravity of a head in a suitable position rather closer to the back side peripheral wall part without excessively heightening the rigidity of the back side peripheral wall part. <P>SOLUTION: In the back side peripheral wall part 22 constituting a golf club head 10, a plate part 26 substantially parallel to a sole part 20 is formed to project on a region rather closer to a sole part 20, whereby the position of the center of gravity is set on the back side away from a face member 16 and set lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
