<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of predicting the waveform of a metallic sheet by which the accuracy of the shape prediction of the metallic sheet is improved and the separation of the sheet which is necessary in a finishing stage is preliminarily accurately performed. <P>SOLUTION: This method of predicting the waveform of the metallic sheet has the following steps; (a) a step wherein the distribution of buckling stress in the width direction is determined by using the distribution in the width direction of residual stress in the longitudinal direction of the metallic sheet, (b) a step wherein the stress component which is transformed into the waveform deformation and the stress component which remains in the metallic sheet even after buckling are separated when the generation of buckling is judged, and (c) a step wherein the waveform after buckling is predicted by using the stress component which is transformed into the waveform deformation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
