PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit mounting-installing method capable of mounting a power unit on a car body frame with a mount structure of a torque rod system, while dispensing with remodeling of an assembling line and review of a process; and a mounting-installing structure suitably used for this mounting-installing method. SOLUTION: This mounting-installing method successively performs a first process of installing the power unit P in a sub-frame SF in the substantially same attitude as a mounting state to the car body frame F, a second process of installing the sub-frame SF mounted with the power unit P in the car body frame F, and a third process of supporting the power unit P by the car body frame F via motive power source side and speed reducer side mounts 16 and 17, by interposing a torque rod 67 and at least two mounting mounts 71 and 81 between the power unit P and the sub-frame SF.
