PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of double frequency oscillation in the whole range of driving revolution. SOLUTION: In the bi-pole rotor of a dynamo-electric machine which has a cross slot 6 for adjusting the flexural rigidity in the direction of a magnetic pole at the magnetic pole part 5 of the rotor iron core 1, the flexural rigidity in the direction of the magnetic pole is changed by adjusting at least either the distribution or the shape of the above cross slot 6 by the axial position.
