PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible base transceiver station which reduces costs for laying an optical fiber cable or a coaxial cable between BBU (Base Band Unit) and RFU (radio frequency unit). SOLUTION: A wireless transceiver station (10) includes: at least one base band unit (60); at least one radio frequency unit (40) including at least one radio equipment (50); and a wireless link (70) for connecting the base band unit to the radio equipment by radio. In support of the wireless link, the base band unit may comprise a multi-headed air interface antenna (90) or RF antenna (80) which may be tuned to support a data rate of at least 100 Mbps, and may comprise wideband and/or narrowband characteristics.
