VIDEO DISPLAY DEVICE, MULTIDISPLAY DEVICE, AND BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidisplay device which displays a video with a sense of unity as a whole, with no discontinuity in brightness among display screens adjoined each other for displaying by a plurality of video display devices. SOLUTION: In the multidisplay device, the video signal of the amount of a single screen is distributed among a plurality of liquid-crystal projectors 101-104, and these display screens display the video of the single screen. An aperture and a video signal adjusting part are controlled in an interlocked manner based on the parameter received for each video display device. The brightness of video displayed from the video display device is set to a desired value, allowing the brightness of videos displayed from the video display devices to be uniform.
