PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of processing for finding a side-to-side runout quantity in an optical disk drive. SOLUTION: Side-to-side runout quantities by radial lens positions in a disk radius direction are stored in a storage part 28 to eliminate the need to perform processing for finding the side-to-side runout quantity in every rotation of the optical disk, thereby lightening the load of the processing for finding the side-to-side runout quantity.
