PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defect in temperature rising work of a refrigerator in the inspection, maintenance, regeneration of a cryopump, or the like by improving the strength of a displacer of the cryogenic refrigerator. SOLUTION: In connecting the displacers 11, 12 of piston shape with built-in cold storage materials 21, 22, rotatably to each other using pins 31, 32 disposed on the connected side ends, and a connector 33 for connecting the pins to each other, the connected side end of at least the displacer 12 with a smaller diameter is provided with a reinforcing collar 40, and the pin 32 is held by the reinforcing collar 40.
