PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel actuator. SOLUTION: This actuator 1 has an operation body 2, plates 3, 4, and a pouring pipe. The operation body 2 is composed of a bag body. A shape of the operation body 2 which is composed of the bag body and is empty and is crushed by exhausting air is, for example, rectangular. The operation body 2 has a bent part 2a. The bent part 2a is a part formed by bending a central part of the operation body 2. There is a clearance in the bent part 2a to let air in the operation body 2 circulate. For example, a fire extinguishing hose can be utilized as a material of the operation body 2. The actuator 1 can use compressed air as action fluid. The plates 3, 4 are platelike members nipping the operation body 2. End parts of the plates 3, 4 are rotatably supported by a joint 5. The pouring pipe is fixed on the operation body 2.
