PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyeing method for a plastic lens capable of uniformly dyeing the plastic lens by sublimating dye without unevenness. SOLUTION: The method for dyeing the plastic lens comprises dyeing the plastic lens by heating a holding member for dyeing containing the sublimating dye by a member for heating to sublimate the sublimating dye, wherein the holding member for dyeing is arranged between the plastic lens and the member for heating and the holding member for dyeing and the surface to be dyed of the plastic lens are opposed apart a prescribed spacing disposed therebetween, then at least one heating buffer layer is disposed between the holding member for dyeing and the member for heating.
