PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid pile having high axial force and yield strength against horizontal force, and capable of coping with a big earthquake, on the basis of rigidly joining a structure and a pile head part; and a construction method of the hybrid pile. SOLUTION: A lower pile part 2 is constructed in a hole by drilling the hole in the ground, and a steel pipe 8 with a rib for constituting an upper pile part 3 is built up so as to be integrated with the lower pile part 2. The upper pile part 3 is constructed by filling a first hardening material 9 in a hollow part of the steel pipe 8 with the rib for constituting the upper pile part 3. When constructing a foundation of the structure 10, a head expanding member 4 is fitted to an outer peripheral surface so as to contain the pile head part of the upper pile part 3 at a point of exposing the vicinity of the pile head part of the upper pile part 3, and a second hardening material 11 is filled so as to embed the pile head part of the upper pile part 3 inside.
