SHAPED BODY OF FOAMED METAL, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND METALLIC MATERIAL FOR FOAMING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a shaped body of foamed metal by which the shaped body of foamed metal can be easily manufactured with high production efficiency. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises steps of: obtaining a mixed powder material prepared by mixing 40 to 95 parts by mass of metal powder, 2 to 50 parts by mass of flux powder and 0.2 to 10 parts by mass of foaming-agent powder; and heating and foaming the mixed powder material in a state of powder or in a bound state using a binder, without applying plastic working, to obtain the shaped body of foamed metal.
