PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an envelope for a printer, which eliminates a print quality failure due to the nonuniform thickness of envelopes. SOLUTION: The envelope, on which an address and a sender are inscribed on a printer, comprises an envelope body 1 which encloses a letter, and a past area 2, which is formed to be as large as the envelope to make the envelope body 1 into a bag shape. A plurality of fold-back parts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, which are folded back to the opposite side to an address entry face 1-0 in the envelope body, and have respective matching parts whose ends are closely counter to and do not overlap each other. The fold-back parts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 are pasted on the past area 2 to make a sealed bag structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
