PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank having a filtering mechanism with simple structure and at low cost, for easily checking and removing moisture that has been separated by filtering. SOLUTION: The fuel tank 16 is constituted of an upside member 21 and a downside member 22 joined with the upside member, an oil supply port 23 is formed in an upper face of the upside member 21, and a fuel cap 24 is put on the oil supply port 23. A fuel discharge port 25 is formed in the downside member 22, and a filter member 26 is disposed between the oil supply port 23 and the fuel discharge port 25 to filter foreign matters in the fuel. The filter member 26 is constituted of fluoroethylene resin element 27 which has property allowing the passage of fuel but impervious to water, and the filter member 26 is held by a split face 28 between the upside member 21 and the downside member 22.
