PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool for a spinning reel that is equipped with a fishing line stopper and causes no risk such that a fishing line is let out unnecessarily from the spool, even when a power is loaded on the fishing line rolled around the spool (at the rolling end edge). SOLUTION: In the spool for the spinning reel that is attached to a reel body so that it may be made longitudinally movable and the fishing line is wound up via a line guide of a rotor that is rotated by the winding operation of a handle attached to the reel body around the spool of the spinning reel, a ring form elastomer body is set to the outer periphery of a collar on the back side of a line-winding drum and a line-fitting part through which the line can pass is provided on the collar part and the line clamped with the fitting part is stopped with the elastomer body.
