A diazotype material comprises a support coated with a diazonium compound and an ultraviolet absorber which is decomposed by radiation to which the diazonium compound is sensitive and which is of one of the following formulae wherein n is 1 or 2 and R and R' is aryl, substituted aryl or heterocyclic radicals. In the examples, the ultraviolet absorber is added to two-component diazotype solution and coated on a support and imagewise exposed for a shorter length of time than normal materials to give the same density dye image when developed. |
