PVC molding material comprises a compatibilizer produced by functionalizing an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer by radical grafting with an alpha ,beta -ethylenically unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid or anhydride and optionally a vinylaromatic or C1-C12 alkyl (meth)acrylate comonomer. PVC molding material comprising (by weight) 80-100 parts PVC or a polymer blend consisting predominantly of PVC, 0-100 parts plasticizer, 0-150 parts particulate filler and/or reinforcer, 0.1-10 parts heat stabilizer, 0-5 parts costabilizer, 0.1-8 parts lubricant, 0.1-10 parts compatibilizer, 0-20 parts pigment and 0-20 parts other processing and/or functional additives comprises a compatibilizer produced by functionalizing an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (100 parts) by radical grafting with an alpha ,beta -ethylenically unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid or anhydride (0.2-10 parts) and optionally a vinylaromatic or C1-C12 alkyl (meth)acrylate comonomer (0-10 parts). An independent claim is also included for a one-pack combination for use as a component of a PVC molding material as above, comprising (wt.%): heat stabilizer (20-70), plasticizer (0-20), filler (0-50), costabilizer (0-40), lubricant (20-70), compatibilizer (10-60), pigment (0-20) and additives (0-20).
