<p>The invention relates to a device (10) for watering a potted plant having roots, including a hollow body (12) for installation in a pot (11), the body (12) including an outside (14) and an inside (15) separately by a wall (13), thereby forming a space (16) arranged within the body (12) for irrigation liquid, a refill opening (17, 18) for supply of irrigation liquid and a liquid-permeable material for transport of the irrigation liquid from the space (16) to the roots for watering. The outside (14) of the body (12) is, in at least an upper portion of the body (12), made for direct contact with the plant roots. The wall (13) is made from the liquid-permeable material for transport of irrigation liquid from the space (16) and transversely through the wall (13) to the roots in direct contact with the outside (14) of the body (12), thereby forming a transverse liquid flow (A) through the wall (13). The liquid-permeable material is made to accomplish transport of liquid within and along the length of the wall (13), thereby forming a lateral liquid flow (B) therealong.</p> |
