INK JETTING RECORDING MEDIUM AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jetting recording medium not generating a crack even if the medium is curved or bent, and to provide its image forming method.

SOLUTION: The ink jet recording medium has at least two ink absorbing layers on a support wherein the ink absorbing layer disposed farthest from the support includes inorganic pigment fine particles. A polymeric compound having side chains bridge-bonded with each other by irradiating a hydrophilic polymeric compound having a functional group in the side chain and a polymerization degree of ≥300 with ionizing radiation is included in the ink absorbing layer disposed farthest from the support.
