<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel circuit of an organic electroluminescence display device, and to provide its drive method. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a number of pixels provided with two or more light-emitting elements. Partial light-emitting elements from among the two or more light-emitting elements of two adjacent pixels from among the number of the pixels are grouped as a first light-emitting element group EL1_R, EL1_B and EL2_G, and the remaining light-emitting elements is grouped as a second light-emitting element groups EL1_G, EL2_R and EL2_B. The first light-emitting element group EL1_R, EL1_B and EL2_G and the second light-emitting element group EL1_G, EL2_R and EL2_B are successively driven within a fixed period, to materialize prescribed colors within a fixed section. The fixed section is a single frame, and the single frame is divided into two sub-frames. The first light-emitting element group EL1_R, EL1_B and EL2_G and the second light-emitting element group EL1_G, EL2_R and EL2_B are driven in time division manner, at each sub-frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
