<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail capable of adjusting a fixing position of the handrail from the inside of a cage room when attaching the handrail in a wall part in the inside of the cage room for an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail arranges a handrail fixture 6 on the rear face side of the wall part attaching the handrail, and fixes a handrail bracket 3b attaching a handrail pipe 3a on the surface side of the wall part being a cage indoor side. In order to adjust the position of the handrail fixture 6, through slots (2a and 2b) are provided in the wall part, and fixing screws 7 are inserted in the slots to be temporarily stopped. The fixing position of the handrail fixture 6 is adjusted by slidably moving the handrail fixture 6 in the longitudinal direction of the slots by being operated from the inside of the cage room.
