<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsimeter united with a portable telephone in which the one of little power consumption is used for a measurement tool and measured data are quickly and surely sent to a transmission destination simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: An air pad sensor capable of clamping a urethane or rubber-like pad tightly sealing air between equipment and the palm, converting the weak pulse vibrations of a human being to air vibrations inside the pad, converting the air vibrations to electric signals by a piezoelectric element and detecting pulses by holding the equipment is incorporated in the portable telephone. By the air pad sensor, just by holding the portable telephone, the weak pulse vibrations of the human being are converted to electric vibrations, a noise frequency band is eliminated for the signals by a filter, only a pulse waveform is taken out and the number of the pulses is counted. Since the one of the little power consumption is used for the measurement tool, this invention is more advantageous in terms of the consumption of a battery or the like than the conventional one, there is no need to care about the degradation of an LED, and the measured data are quickly and surely sent through the portable telephone to the transmission destination without using a personal computer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
