<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire restricted in abrasion of a heel and a toe thereof without deteriorating wet performance. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is structured to from a stepping edge chamfered part 26 in an operating edge of a land part 22 adjacent to a gentle inclined surfaces 18 formed in both side areas 12S of a tread. Step height between a kicking side and a stepping side of the land part 22 formed in the both side areas 12S of the tread can be restricted, and as a result, abrasion of the heel and the toe in both the side areas 12S of the tread can be improved. Step height between the kicking side and the stepping side of the land part 22 formed in a central area 12C of the tread can be restricted by forming a kicking edge chamfered part 24 in a kicking edge of the land part 22 adjacent to a steep inclined part 15 of the central area 12C of the tread, and as a result, abrasion of the heel and the toe in the central area 12C of the tread can be restricted. Since a wide-width part 28 is provided in a groove bottom part side of a narrow-width part of an inclined groove 14 and the inclined groove 14 is opened in a grounding end 12E of the tread, water inside the groove can smoothly be drained outside the grounding end 12E of the tread, and sufficient wet draining performance can be secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
